Hi Tio Wayne! It's your niece Jade (Judith's granddaughter). I only remember meeting you once, but I greatly enjoyed the time we spent together that day. I remember going to Outback with you, Tia Lucy, Lucy Angela, and Wayne-G and listening to you play and sing at your house. It was a great day. That was when I was around 12. I am 20 now, sitting at my desk at 3am typing this message to you, hoping you can see it from all the way up there. I wish our big family wasn't so scattered about the Americas and that we could all see each other and hang out. That was a wish I've had since I was a child. Maybe my childhood would have been a little less lonely. Maybe I could have learned a thing or two about working hard and being content with what you have. As I read your obituary, I became inspired to be a more wholesome person. To be more like you.
On a lighter note, I've finally grown to like country music! In spite of growing up in Texas, the genre never grew on me. Now, I have multiple playlists dedicated to country and folk. Hank Williams (and Junior) is great!
I wish I could have gotten to know you better. I'm going to have to pay the Swinsburgs a visit so I can hear more stories about you! May God bless you and the wonderful legacy you have.
