We have many great memories of our Aunt as kids and just about all of then include her brownies and rugala. A lot of our childhood memories (like yelling out of the car and blaming your brothers for 45 years) are from visiting her. For years driving on the parkway made me think of her since we did that trip so often. By coincidence I eventually moved to her old town and would remember those times whenever I would coach my kids soccer, right behind her old house. We will miss her.
As her baby sister, I looked up to her all our lives. The last number of years, because of the distance after I moved to Florida, we seldom saw each other. But we had daily phone calls and so we remained close. Sibling rivalry, I was the first to be a great grandmother, though she beat me with more great grandchildren. I will miss her. . .
