Dear Kaplan Family,
First of all condolences to you and your family. My name is Therese Kelley and my father Glenn Kelley was a friend of Saul's in High School. My dad sadly passed away this past February also at the age of 92. I'm not sure why Saul's obituary showed up on my computer today. It had something to do with the High School Directory website.
I spent the last two years with my dad in his home in Sarasota, Fl and he would often ask me to google his former friends and classmates. We would go through his yearbook and he would pick out friends and always tell me a story about that particular person. Unfortunately, most of the people in his age range didn't have an internet presence unless they passed away.
It was a pleasure for me to hear old stories of High School and after which was mostly WWII. My regret today is that I can't call him up and tell about Saul's passing. Maybe he already knows! I will pray for your family as I know how hard yet bitter sweet it is to say goodbye, knowing that they lived a long life.
