Obituary of LENORE TEAMAN
Lenore (Leni) Teaman, 86, of Monroe Township, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on
January 6, 2024, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Beloved mother of Gary Teaman (Jeannie) and Holly McGrath. Devoted sister of Jerry
Lansky and the late Judy Blank. Cherished grandmother of Gabrielle Greenberg (Avery),
Rebecca Teaman, Andrew McGrath, and Alex McGrath.
Born Lenore Lansky in Queens, NY, in 1938, she moved to central New Jersey
approximately 30 years ago. A graduate of Jamaica High School, she earned an Associate's
degree from Queensborough Community College. Leni enjoyed a successful career in
advertising sales for several medical and photography trade publications.
A dedicated member of the Concordia community for over three decades, she founded the
Shalom Club and was a strong supporter of the Brandeis National Committee's fundraising
endeavors. Leni cherished connecting with people and her circle of friends was extensive,
as she actively participated in and organized numerous Concordia social events.
Funeral services will be held at Goldstein's Chapel in Edison, NJ, at 11:00 AM on January
8th. Leni will be laid to rest alongside her longtime companion, Edward Sirgadis, at Mount
Lebanon/Forest Lawn Cemetery in Iselin, NJ.

Society
