Obituary of LEANORE RABINOWITZ

After 103 lovely, healthy years, Leanore Pleet Rabinowitz passed away at her home in Highland Park, NJ on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Leanore was predeceased by her loving husband William, her parents Sarah and David Pleet and her sister, Selma Kranz. She was a devoted Mom to Mel and his wife Debra, Jeffrey and his wife Fern, and Richard (Boruch) and his wife Dena. Lee was a fabulous Grandma filled with fun to her twelve grandchildren and their spouses. Most remarkably, Lee was the proud great-grandma to her forty-four great-grandchildren with whom she continued to play games and ball until very recently. Leanore and her husband William were the founders of Carol's Bridals in Plainfield and North Plainfield, NJ. She also loved working alongside her son at Jefre Bridals in Green Brook, NJ. Lee cherished her family, her friends, her work and her very long life. 

Funeral services were held at Highland Park Temple, 201 South 3rd Avenue on October 12,2023. Burial followed at Mount Lebanon Cemetery, Iselin. Shiva will take place on Thursday evening 6:00-8:00PM, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 11:30AM to 4:30PM and 6:00-8:00PM in the evening.
