Obituary of FREDERICK BONGIOVANNI

Frederick Bongiovanni, 91, formerly of East Brunswick, NJ passed away surrounded by loved ones on February 11th in Warrington, PA.

Fred was born on August 2, 1931 to Nicola and Virginia Bongiovanni in Jersey City, NJ. After proudly serving in the United States Navy, he attended and graduated from Seton Hall University, where he studied accounting and then became a CPA.  He eventually formed his own accounting firm and served as a CPA for over 50 years continuing to support his clients even through his 90th birthday.

Fred married the love of his life, Lida (Marie) Roze Bongiovanni, originally from Brooklyn, NY on August 15th, 1958.  He was an avid golfer and loved to fish.  Anyone who knew Fred knew how very proud he was of the beautiful family he and Marie created.

Fred is survived by his wife Marie, four children (Richard Bongiovanni, Nancy DeCarr, Laura Ferrigno, and Robert Bongiovanni); 15 grandchildren (Derek, Darren, Dana, Drew, Austin, Alexa, Blake, Anthony, Brittany, Nicole, Kaia, Jaylen, Nicholas, Peri and Alec); 6 great-grandchildren (Luca, Brooke, Morgan, Kara, Logan and Reece) and brother Frank Cappadona.

There will be a funeral mass to celebrate his life at   St. Bart’s Catholic Church in East Brunswick, NJ at 11:15 am on Saturday, February 18th with the burial immediately following at Holy Cross Cemetery, East Brunswick, NJ.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to The Wounded Warrior Project at https://support.woundedwarriorproject.org or 855-448-3997 in his memory.
