Obituary of YOLANDA RODRIGUEZ

Yolanda Rodriguez, age 71, passed away at Hackensack Meridian-Raritan Bay Medical Center in Perth Amboy, NJ on June 04, 2022.

Mrs. Rodriguez moved to New York around the age of 19 where she later met and married Jose Manuel Rodriguez.

Yolanda was member of Jehovah Witnesses where she served for many, many years. She was an avid shopper, loved to cook and receive friends. Everyone that was close to her called her "Mommie". She was a mom to more than just her kids. Over the years she worked as a nurse.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jose Manual Rodriguez and her daughter Jeanette Rodriguez.

She is survived by her son Raul Rodriguez, and her daughter Miriam Reid, both from Perth Amboy, son-in-law Donovan Reid as well as daughters-in-law Mariel Ortiz and Tasha Finn.

She also leaves behind 3 grandchildren, Naje, Maya, and Jayden. lots of sisters, Tania, Lala, Iris, Carmen, Mara, Lillian, Olga, Cuka, Eded and a  host of many,  many nephews and nieces but to name a few, Jose, Denise, and Luis Valentin. Liz, Jackie, Luis, Edgar, Chu, Betsy, Annie and Nora.

She is also survived by a host of cousins and many friends. 

There wasn't a thing Yolanda wouldn't give or do for those she cared for. She helped raise many kids from the neighborhood and gained many friends over the years.

Viewing and funeral services will take place at Goldstein Funeral Chapel, 2015 Woodbridge Avenue in Edison, NJ on Wednesday, June 8th from 7 to 9pm.

Burial services will be private for immediate family only.
