I worked with Gary at the FTC. He went out of his way to show me the ropes (back in 1988) and always had a smile on his face, no matter the problem I brought to him. What I admired most was his committment to non-adversarial approaches to dispute resolution. He believed in kindness. May his memory be a blessing.
