Obituary of JEROME LIEBERMAN

Jerry Lieberman, age 83, passed away peacefully on October 6th, 2021. Jerry was born to Morris and Pauline Lieberman on August 21st, 1938. Jerry was born in Newark, NJ and graduated from Hillside High School. In High School Jerry played basketball and baseball. Jerry graduated from Rutgers University with a BS in Business Administration. Jerry sold life insurance for 55 years and he was the president of Jerome J. Lieberman and Company. Jerry was a devoted husband to Roberta Lieberman, his sweetheart for 59 years. Jerry was a passionate and avid sports enthusiast. His favorite teams were the NY Yankees and the NY Giants. In his free time, he was a little league coach. He loved travelling and going on cruises. He also loved going to the theater. He is survived by his beloved wife Roberta, his children Andrew Lieberman (Stacy), David Lieberman (Sophie), Jodi Kovacs (Michael). His brother Stewart Lieberman and his sister-in-Law Susie Lieberman, his sister Cheryl Parnes and Brother-in-Law Bob Parnes, his Brother-in-Law Barry Kutenplon and partner Daria Friedman as well as his nephews, nieces and cousins. Jerry's biggest joy in life was his seven grandchildren. He was a devoted grandfather to Matthew, Emma, Morgan, Courtney, Julia, Marissa and Charlene. Jerry never missed his grandchildren's sporting events, plays and dance recitals and he was always proud of them. Jerry was a devoted family man, and he will be missed greatly. He was one of a kind.
