Evelyn Valdez (nee Morales) passed away on September 21, 2021 peacefully at Hackensack Meridian Perth Amboy, at the age of 55.
Evelyn was predeceased by her parents Guillermo & Calixta (Figueroa) Morales, sister Vidali Roman,brothers Rafael & Edwin Morales, her niece Samantha Roman and her nephew Edwin Ramos, Jr.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband Jacinto, a sister Maria (Yayi) and husband Edwin Ramos,Sr. and her 2 brothers Samuel and wife Vickie Morales and William Morales. Evelyn also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, godchildren and friends who will miss her dearly.
Viewing for Evelyn will be on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM @ Goldstein Funeral Chapel, 2015 Woodbridge Avenue, Edison, NJ. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at St. Joseph Parish, 55 High Street, Carteret, NJ. Interment will take immediately after the mass at Alpine Cemetery, Perth Amboy, NJ.
The family would like to thank all of the compassionate caregivers who helped Evelyn to live comfortably in the last years of her life, especially her Eucharistic Ministers. A special thanks to Msgr. John Gordon for all his love and concern.
Arrangements are being handled by Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Edison, NJ.
