BEATRICE GROSSMAN Obituary

Beatrice Grossman, 81 of Clark, New Jersey passed away peacefully September 1, 2021 with

her two daughters at her side.

Beatrice was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey. She was the youngest of seven children. She spent

her life in NJ, with the exception of attending high school in Miami, FL. She earned her

Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Rutgers University in 1961. That same year she married

the love of her life, Irwin Grossman, March 26, 1961. They lived happily in Orange, NJ before

settling in Colonia NJ.

She loved her career as a teacher which she did for over 30 years, taking time off only to raise

her children. She had a big impact on her students which was evident when she saw some of

her former students over the years. They shared how much they loved her and learned so much

from her. She was an active member with the JCC in Edison, NJ and Congregation Neve

Shalom in Metuchen, NJ.

Her kindness was apparent to anyone who met her. Her life was filled with friendships, life long

and new. Her memory will be a blessing to all who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters Stefanie Grossman and Andrea Abrams, son-in-law Gary

Abrams, and granddaughters Erica and Sarah. She is also survived by loving nieces and

nephews. Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband Irwin Grossman in 2017.

The funeral was held on September 5th at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge.
