Lillian Baron, of Boca Raton, Florida, died peacefully at home on May 15, 2021. Lillian was predeceased by her beloved husband of almost sixty-eight years, Herbert J. Baron. It was a marriage of love, strength and true partnership. She also was predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Rebecca Gelber, and her siblings, Joseph Gelber, Irving Gelber and Pearl Kressel. A native of Newark, NJ, and a “Weequahic Girl,” Lillian spent most of her career as an office manager in the real estate appraisal field with Benjamin and Irwin Steinberg. She also was a licensed Realtor. Lillian is survived by her beloved children, Caroline Baron, Irene Sevrin (Richard), and Jack Baron (Shari), grandchildren, Brittany Heaps, Samuel Baron, and Gregory Baron, each of whom she treasured, and her nieces and nephews. Family was everything to Lillian, raising her children with Herbert in Maplewood. She enjoyed her retirement in Boca Raton with Herbert. Lillian was blessed with a long, healthy life, exceptionally full of happiness, love and wonderful memories. We will miss her so much. We are grateful to her devoted caregivers, Marie, Emanuella, Beatrice and Lucy.
