Lorraine Iris Fenchel, age 63, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 31,2021 with her two daughters by her side at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ after a very short battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to Rose Levine and Nathan Horowitz. She got her bachelor’s degree from NYU and completed one year of law school. She was a journalist, hospital administrator, and worked with children with autism, though her most important job was mom to Natalie and Deborah. She was a lover of history, politics, and movies. Nothing made her smile more than being involved in all her dog groups on Facebook. She is survived by her two daughters, Natalie Fenchel and Deborah Fenchel, sister Olivia Finkelstein and her husband Paul Finkelstein. She was also so grateful for her friends that supported her through this difficult time. Family, friends, and others whose lives Lorraine touched are invited to Beth Israel Memorial Park, 1098 Woodbridge Center Drive, Woodbridge Center, NJ 07095 (732-634-2100) on Friday, April 2nd at 10:30am.
