Obituary of ARTHUR OSMAN

Arthur Osman, 96 of Edison, NJ, died September 21, 2020. He was born in Brooklyn, NY to Gussie & Max Osman. Arthur was a Certified Public Accountant and an Attorney working many years at the accounting firms of David S. Pollack, and Richard Eisner in Manhattan, NY, then becoming controller at Holmes Medical Supply in Brooklyn, NY and Zion & Breen Landscape Architects in Cream Ridge, NJ. Arthur was a graduate of Samuel Tilden High School, CCNY, and Brooklyn Law School. Throughout his life, he devoted himself to his family. He loved boxing, tennis, and golf. He will be sorely missed. He was predeceased by his wife Evelyn of blessed memory. They had a wonderful marriage for 59 years. Arthur (and his wife Evelyn) were founding members of Temple Emanu-El in Edison. He is survived by his son Lawrence Osman and his wife Robin of Bridgewater, NJ, his daughter Patricia Osman of Manalapan, NJ, grandchildren Eric, Alex, and Jamie, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother William Osman and sister Phyllis Zimmerman. A private funeral will take place with arrangements by Goldstein Funeral Chapel. Shiva will take place 9/23 and 9/24 via Zoom. Memorial contributions can be made to Temple Beth-El of Hillsborough, NJ, or to a charity of your choice.
