Obituary of Angel Luis Montalvo

OBITUARY

Angel Luis Montalvo, 56, passed away on September 22, 2018 at JFK Medical Center, Edison, NJ

Angel was born in Aguadilla, PR and had come to the United States at age 16 to live in Connecticut, he also lived in Florida before moving to Perth Amboy, where he resided until time of death. 

Angel was a great cook, a hard worker who would help anyone in need. Angel had a great love for God, which helped him fight this battle with cancer.

Angel is predeceased by his parents Filomeno and Natalia (Perez) Montalvo, a sister and 3 brothers.

He is survived by his loving wife Aida (Rivera) Montalvo, his children Lindsey, Michael and Angel L., Jr, his goddaughter Ashley Valero.  He also leaves his siblings Carmen, Gloria, Elba Iris, Ramona, Antonia, Filomeno,  Orlando, Natalio, Jose and Lalo, many nieces and nephews and 2 grandchildren John Anthony and Jonathan and his beloved mother-in-law Aida M. Rivera, sisters-in-law and his brothers- in -law and a host of friends who loved him dearly.

In lieu of flrowers donations in his memory may be made to St. Jude for Children or Most Holy Name of Jesus Parish, Perth Amboy, NJ

Viewing will be at Goldstein Funeral Chapel, Inc. 2015 Woodbridge Ave., Edison, NJ on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 5:00pm-9:00pm, Mass of Christian burial on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 10:00 am@ Our Lady of Hungary Parish, Cortlandt St., Perth Amboy. Entombment will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Gill Lane, Iselin, NJ immediately after the Mass.
