Annette Silverman (née Rosen), 80, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026.

Born on July 18, 1945, on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, Annette grew up in Coney Island, New York. After marrying in 1969, she moved to Old Bridge, New Jersey, where she raised her family and built a life centered on love, friendship, and community.

Annette is survived by her son, Leonard Douglas Silverman; her daughter, Donna Donahue; her son-in-law, Michael Donahue; and her beloved granddaughters, Cara and Catherine Donahue. She was preceded in death by her longtime companion, Gerald Slutsky, with whom she shared many happy years until his passing in 2018.

Annette's greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. She loved gathering around the table to share meals, stories, and conversation. She enjoyed reading, swimming, and staying connected with the people she cared about.

Known for her kindness, generosity, and remarkable memory, Annette never forgot a birthday, anniversary, or important milestone. She was always the first to check on others, offer a listening ear, or lend a helping hand. Her warmth and compassion made everyone feel like family.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Entombment will take place at the Sanctuary of Israel Mausoleum, Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ at 11:00 am on Monday, June 8, 2026.

Shiva will be held at 17 Betsy Ross Drive, Monroe Township, NJ, on Monday, June 8, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Tuesday, June 9, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
