BARBARA P. MORSE Obituary

Barbara Morse was born in Brookline, Massachusetts, the youngest child of Samuel Magazine and Rose (née Hamberg). She grew up there, graduated from Brookline High School, and married the love of her life, Bennett L. Morse, in October 1972. The newlyweds moved to Framingham and began building their family with the arrival of their sons, Ari and Wayne. The family later moved to Livingston, New Jersey, where they built a life together until Ben’s untimely passing in 1991. Raising two boys on her own was never easy, but Barbara faced every challenge with determination and the support of a wide circle of friends. Still, when it mattered most, she was always the one her boys could count on.

She is predeceased by her parents, Samuel and Rose, husband, Bennett, and her favorite aunt, Sue Rudy. Surviving are her sons, Ari (Esther Mitrani) Morse, Port Orange, FL, and Wayne (Sophie Stein) Morse, Livingston, New Jersey, and four very special grandchildren, Bennett, Eli, Sophia, and Jonah, who will cherish their memories of Grammy. Her brother, Len (Susan) Magazine, Battle Ground, WA, also survives, as does her brother-in-law, Harvey (Marcia) Morse, Waynesville, NC, along with her nieces Gwenn, Alison, Shari, and nephews Scott and Rick, along with cousins Linda Nore, Seth Nore, Cami Hough, and Jeffrey (Ellen) Rudy, and her very special friends Vivian and Ali Sarwi, who have gone above and beyond to ensure she was well cared for.

Interment will be at Mount Lebanon Cemetery in Iselin with a private graveside funeral.
