Obituary of ESTHER JACOBO

Please share a memory of ESTHER to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Esther Jacobo, who left us on January 27th 2025 at the age of 94. Born in Cuba to Marcos and Sara Levy, Esther was the beloved wife of Isaac Jacobo, mother to Jose "Pepe" Jacobo, Sara "Vicky" Levi, and Ana Jacobo, and a proud grandmother to Jennifer, Natalie, Bryan, Gabriella, Alex, and Jonathan, as well as a great-grandmother to Max, Ellie, Evie, Isabelle, Hunter, and Jack.

Esther was known for her strength, elegance, and unwavering love for her family. She was a force of nature who commanded attention with her wisdom, beauty, and impeccable style. Whether running the family jewelry store or offering life lessons, Esther always left an impact. Affectionately known as La Jefa, La Doña, and La Reina, she was a true matriarch who taught us the importance of family, grace, and hard work.

She will be remembered for her timeless beauty, elegance, and the love she showed to all who knew her. A service to honor her memory will be held on January 29th at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge, New York. Shiva will follow at 150 Maytime Drive, Long Island.

Esther’s legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, and she will always shine like the star she was.
