RITA KLEIN

Rita Klein passed away on April 21, 2019 after a long and bravely fought battle with dementia at the age of eighty-eight.

Long- time resident of Boynton Beach Florida, and Manhasset, New York, Raised in the Bronx, with life-long friends, Rita was happiest when she was surrounded by her family.  Rita always claimed that spending time with her daughters turned even difficult times into joyous occasions.  She loved to entertain family and friends for holidays, and always enjoyed setting a large, decorative table with plenty of food.  Rita created warm memories for her family and insured that they would always be close to each other.

Rita was predeceased by her devoted parents, Esther and Barney Lasky, and her husband of sixty-eight years, Arnold Klein.

Loving mother of three daughters, Robin Smirlock (Martin), Ivy Kalik (David),  and Mindel Klein (John Lepore).  Adoring and adored Nana to seven grandchildren, Jonathon, Jordan, and Anna Kalik, Sophia and Alexandra Lepore, Stephanie Morrissey, and Jennifer Ryan, and five great-grandchildren, Maddie, Cam, Jake, Owen, and Spencer

The family would like to thank all of the compassionate caregivers who helped Rita to live comfortably in the last years of her life.

Services will be held privately.
