Condolences
Michael was the only person who helped me and would talk to me when I was initially diagnosed with Intracranial Hypertension. And, when I decided to have my stent surgery, he was there for me every step of the way. He was always there for me as someone I could vent to and confide in. The world has lost a shining star. I will miss you dear friend. Tatiana
I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Michael through the Intracranial hypertension and chiari communities on Facebook. He was a terrific guy and amazing friend. You all have been in my prayers and will remain there.
Rest easy in paradise Michael. Thank you for blessing me with your friendship.
I first met Michael several years ago when I flew to New Jersey for a watch gathering called the Bezelfest. After landing that afternoon I met Michael at a local restaurant near his home. We had chatted before via emails and text but had never personally met yet until that night. I knew within 10 minutes of meeting him we would be good friends.
That was such a fun day meeting him and lots of other new watch Friends. And I instantly knew that once they were going to have the second one I was immediately jumping on a plane and coming to it.
We stayed in touch over the years again via text and emails and phone calls. I even sent him a 8 slot watch case signed by one of our favorite groups called Dream Theater. When I flew back for the second watch Gathering I told him I was sending him something but for him to not open it till I arrive. Once I landed in later that day we went to the male area to pick it up. Upon coming back to his home he open it up and couldn't believe his eyes. The look on his face said it all. It was just something he and I did amongst each other, we would send each other stuff without even thinking about it.
Upon reading the news that morning I was completely crushed and devastated. I would no longer be able to talk to my friend. But I know it's been said before he is no longer in pain and he's flying free. And I know one day I will see him again.
I send my deepest condolences to his mother and father, Bruce and Susan. I got to meet them at the first watch Gathering and knew right away they had raised a good son.
Michael was a good friend of mine due to the fact we both had IIH. My heart goes out to his family & wife, Theresa. You will not be forgotten, Michael.
I am so sorry for your loss. I haven’t seen Michael since High School, but we reconnected on Facebook. He was a wonderful inspiration. May you find comfort during this difficult time
Michael, my little brother that I never had... I am so heartbroken to have lost you. The years we had been "siblings" started so long ago at FDU and weren't supposed to be over yet! Your "goofiness," which developed into your positive attitude always "picked me up," no matter what was going on with you. Hopefully, I was available for you too.
My heartfelt love and condolences to the Seitz family. And to the grand group of people who were Michael's friends, both near and far, know that we were truly blessed by knowing such a kind soul.
My heart is heavy. My eyes have been filled with un shed tears. The Chiari and IIH families are grieving with you. Michael will forever be in our memories. He was an exceptional man and great friend. Much love to all at this time.
So very sorry for your loss. Michael became such a big part of my life. Even with all he delt with he never failed to make sure I was ok. He was a kind loving man. My protector even from afar. We connected because Chiari, a horrible condition but our friendship was stronger on so many levels. He is pain free now. Fly high my dear friend. I will honor you till the end.
Gentle hugs
So sorry for your loss. Michael will always be with you. Love and prayers for your family. I only knew Michael on Facebook, but we would often chat about NCIS. Was hoping to meet him in Florida in a few months.
I’m deeply sorry for your loss of this great man. We had been friends on Facebook for a number of years and chatted occasionally. I loved when he posted his “watch of the day”. I regret never getting to actually meet in person, and as a man with Chiari and IIH as well, I appreciate everything he did to help the community. God Bless.
